Symptoms

When you have the flu, there are four main symptoms. These symptoms include high fever, coughing, body ache such as muscle aches, and headache. Before I read this article, I thought the flu virus made people very hot when it was cold and very cold when it was hot, so it affected the body temperature and caused a fever. Next, the reason why people cough was that the flu virus tickled a person’s throat. The structure of Influenza

There are two different kinds of spikes, each made of a different protein - one is the hemagglutinin (HA) protein and the other is the neuraminidase (NA) protein (Baylor College of Medicine).

How to protect yourself against the flu

Before you become infected with the influenza virus, you will want to protect yourself against the flu. There are several ways in which you can protect yourself. First, the most natural and effective way is to get a flu vaccine. As you get a flu vaccine, you can get antibodies that can fight the flu, and therefore you are less likely to catch the flu. Second, you can avoid getting the flu by washing your hands. You will touch many different kinds of things all day long. And there are several viruses in them. Among the many viruses, there is also a flu virus. But by washing your hands often, you can get rid of the virus. Third, making your body healthier can be a good way. Eating well and exercising like home training are ways to make your body healthier.


How to keep yourself from spreading it to others

If you get the flu, you have to keep yourself from spreading it to others. When you have the flu, you have to do some things. First, just staying home and avoiding meeting with other people are ways to spread it to others. If you have no choice but to go outside, please wear your mask. This is because the flu spreads to coughing. If you want to cough but you don’t have a mask, cover it with your arm and cough. The flu is highly contagious, so it is a good idea to avoid going out as much as possible when you have the flu and take as much rest as possible at home. Also, it is a way to be considerate of others.


Why is an influenza vaccine required?

Flu vaccination is required for everyone aged 6 months and up. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends using any approved, age-appropriate flu vaccine as an option for immunization this season in 2021-2022.
